Who holds you?

You are working on computer in your office or in your home and sitting in a chair right now, you do not feel any movement. But in fact you are actually moving at great speed around the Earth, around the Sun, around the Milky Way, and through the universe at this very moment.

Let’s take a look at where all this speed is coming from.

The first thing to consider is the earth’s rotation. The earth is 40,000 kilometers in circumference at the equator. The earth takes 24 hours to make one rotation. 40000/24 = 1666 kph

The Earth is also making one orbit around the sun every year. The Earth is roughly 150 million km away from the sun, giving its orbit a circumference of 942 million km. That works out to the speed 107,000 KPH.

There are 250 billion stars in our galaxy (Milky Way). The sun is one of these 250 billion stars.
Our solar system itself is also moving in an orbit around the galactic core. The solar system is something like 25,000 light years away from the center of the galaxy, and the galaxy makes one rotation every 250 million years or so. That gives the solar system a speed of something like 675,000 KPH.
The Galaxy (Milky Way) we live in is just one of 300 billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Galaxy itself is moving
Milky Way moves through space within the cluster of galaxies. This speed is 600 km/s in the direction of the constellation Hydra.
Milky Way moves through space within the cluster of galaxies it is a member of, and this cluster in turn moves through space towards yet another larger cluster of galaxies off in the direction of the constellation Virgo. This speed of larger cluster of galaxies is approximately 300 km/s.

So it is assumed that the galaxy is moving through the universe at a speed of 900 km/s, which means 3,240,000 KPH.
Adding it all up:
1,670 + 107,000 + 675,000 + 3,240,000 = 4,023,670 KPH
You are hurling through space at 4 million KPH, even though it feels like you are sitting still, you also don’t feel even a small jerk.
Who holds you during this tremendous hurling through the space?
Almighty Allah holds you.
Allah has created the Earth as a living space within the boundless universe. We live on a world that occupies almost no place at all within infinity. In fact, not just our Earth but even our galaxy occupies a tiny place in the universe. So just imagine how small a place you yourself occupy in this utterly vast universe.  Every single atom in each of these 1024 stars is under the control of Allah at every moment. Every movement, speed, speed of revolution, the temperatures and distances of and between every planet, every one of the 1024 stars and 300 billion galaxies are all determined in the Sight of Allah at every moment.
